Historians of the National Library, Robbie and Ralph, explore some of the five centuries of history that made your National Library what it is today.
2025 marks the 100th birthday of the National Library of Scotland as it currently is – a public resource tasked with preserving the literary heritage of a nation. However, the Library's story did not begin in 1925.
Robbie and Ralph will guide you through five centuries of change, featuring stories of books, manuscripts, people, and ideas.
This event is part of our 100th birthday celebrations.
