Learn how to paint watercolour flowers with shadowing.
In this relaxing afternoon workshop, you'll learn the techniques to paint autumn flowers inspired by some of the decorative borders in our exhibition 'Renaissance: Scotland and Europe, 1480 to 1630'.
Using watercolour paints and fine brushes you will paint individual flowers to create your own image or design to take home.
All materials will be provided.
There will also be an opportunity to find out more about artist, calligrapher and embroiderer Esther Inglis (1571 to 1624) who is featured in our exhibition.
The workshop is suitable for everyone aged 16 years and over.
No experience of watercolour painting is required.
