The National Library of Scotland has begun its timetable to consider potential projects for the Scottish Cultural Heritage Consortium — Arts & Humanities Research Council (SCHC-AHRC) Collaborative Doctoral Partnership (CDP) 2023 awards.
All the Collaborative Doctoral Partnerships (CDPs) across the UK who have received third round awards are taking a co-ordinated approach to their selection timetables, including the SCHC.
All CDP proposals have a deadline for submission to their Selection Panels of 25 November 2022, and all will hold their Selection Panel meetings in early January 2023. This will allow us to advertise for students in February/March 2023, for a September/October 2023 start.
National Library of Scotland timetable:
January-July 2022 — development of proposals with partner supervisors.
By 30 September 2022 at 17.00 — first full draft of proposals to be completed and submitted to the internal National Library of Scotland assessment panel.
Early October 2022 — National Library internal assessment panel meets and gives feedback on first draft.
Early November 2022 — submission of revised drafts.
