'Bantam', published in 2017, was Jackie Kay's first poetry collection as Scotland's Makar.
She was appointed Makar, Scotland's national poet, in 2016. While the official post was created by the Scottish Government in 2004, 'makar' is an old Scots word for poet or author of a literary work.
At the Library we collect and preserve material in all formats, including digital. Our edition of 'Bantam' is an e-book, which is available to read on Library premises.
