She explores how texts can be used to understand the landscape of a battlefield and how it has impacted the choreography of some of the most famous Scottish battles through time. Liz considers some of the most renowned military philosophical texts and the literature of contemporaries, revealing how indispensable the written word is to historical and archaeological studies of conflict sites.
