The intriguing story of the island of Scarp
Scarp was once home to a significant population, whose lives were intimately shaped by the land and characterised by resilience, community and faith.
Broadcaster and sporting academic Dr Hugh Dan MacLennan, and artist Gillies Campbell are both children of Scarp natives. Together they present an illustrated talk on this fascinating Scottish island.
Talk given on Thursday 20 February 2020.
Our events programme presents speakers who talk on a diverse variety of topics and often includes lively discussion with our live audience.
