Petticoats and Pinnacles Too
Women have had a long, but sometimes over-looked, relationship with mountains and wild places. Paula Williams, Curator (Map, Mountaineering and Polar Collections) speaks about female explorers in the National Library of Scotland's collections.
Referring to collection items, Paula shows how women have picked up their skirts and scaled the heights.
Talk given on Friday 8 March 2019.
