Watch online
Dating from the 1890s to the 21st century, the 2,800 full films and clips we have digitised from the collection include early newsreels, educational films and home movies.
The clapperboard icon indicates a film or clip you can watch.
Films can be played back on a variety of mobile devices.
Featured films
'Featured films' on the catalogue introduction page lets you explore a selection of digitised films and clips that we think you might enjoy. Sometimes the whole selection will relate to a particular topic or will highlight new films.
