This contains comprehensive, practical and current business information resources for anyone looking to start a business, write a marketing or business plan, or conduct research into a new market. Registered readers can use this from home.
D & B Hoovers (previously known as OneSource)
This is a business information database providing in depth profiles of almost 120 million companies worldwide, plus market research and business news. Registered readers can use this from home.
Factiva
A news and business search service covering over 30,000 leading newspaper titles, news sources and company information from around the world. Access only on Library premises.
FAME (Financial Analysis Made Easy)
A business information database with details on over 11 million UK and Irish companies, with up to 10 years of financial data. It also includes news articles and market research. Access only on Library premises.
Frost & Sullivan
This resource provides detailed industry analysis on chemical, energy, environmental and building technologies, healthcare, IT and manufacturing markets worldwide. Registered readers can use this from home.
IBISWorld
This resource provides current research on hundreds of industries in the UK, including statistics, analysis and forecasts, risk ratings, and business environment profiles. Access only on Library premises.
Mintel
A full-text market research database containing reports from the Mintel series across a wide range of consumer markets. Access only on Library premises.
