Our senior management team consists of:
Amina Shah
Amina (she/her) has over 25 years of experience across the library and cultural sector in Scotland. She advocates for the power of libraries, education and culture to empower individuals and connect communities. She develops and drives our strategy and fosters global access to Scottish heritage.
Anthony Gillespie
Anthony leads the Finance, Estates, Procurement, Human Resource and Security teams. In this role he helps to provide the support, infrastructure, and services required for staff to do their work.
Rob Cawston
Rob (he/him) leads the development and delivery of the Library’s digital services and platforms. This includes an ongoing programme of collections digitisation and imaging services, a diverse range of user-centred online content, and the renewal of secure digital systems and infrastructure supporting Library users and staff.
Jackie Cromarty
Jackie (she/her) leads engagement on behalf of the Library. She is responsible for fundraising and development, the public programme, which includes exhibitions and events, marketing and communications, and visitor services.
Joe Marshall
Joe leads the teams which do cataloguing, conservation, preservation of physical and digital collections, acquisitions and legal deposit processing, collections logistics and storage. The department also provides line management and direction for the Agency for the Legal Deposit Libraries.
Alison Stevenson
Alison (she/her) leads the teams responsible for building the collections and enabling the discovery of and access to them. This includes managing our reading rooms, research collaborations, and curatorial activity.
